The group

The group

La Quercynoise, a group of producers, was established in the Lot département of southwestern France over 40 years ago.
Our agricultural cooperative is composed of men and women who work hard to create the finest foie gras, with the utmost respect for southwestern traditions, from raising to fattening, slaughtering, cutting and processing to the marketing of top-of-the-range products.

The people

At the heart of this territory are close to 150 farmers in our cooperative, most of whom are established in Lot, but also in Corrèze, Aveyron and Tarn-et-Garonne. They put all their experience to work to achieve the highest quality, in the respect of our region’s traditions, to get the best from fattened ducks.

Our technicians assist producers and guarantee that the standards imposed by the PGI charter are met. Quality monitoring is guaranteed from the farm to the factory.

Quality

The entire chain is monitored, from selecting the animals to shipping the finished products. We ensure traceability and a southwestern Protected Geographical Indication that guarantees the certified origin of all of our products. This origin is your guarantee of a local product developed in southwestern France.
Through tradition and innovation, La Quercynoise offers a wide range of raw, frozen, semi-cooked and canned products.

In June 2008, La Quercynoise was the first agri-foods company to have obtained the four certifications on the same site: IFS, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001.
